Nominations Procedure: Any student may be nominated (or may
nominate themselves) for any of these awards. Letters of nomination
should outline the unique qualification of the student for a
specific award and provide supporting documentation (e.g., a
resume) as needed. The letter of nomination will be taken into
consideration when the Awards committee considers the qualifications
of students for specific awards but in each case the academic
achievement and other information available to the faculty committee
will also be considered. With the exception of the Judith Mucci
Scholarship, the absence or presence of a letter of nomination
for any award will not be used for or against any candidate
for that specific award. Students who are interested in receiving
the Judith Mucci Scholarship must provide a letter of nomination
as described above. These nominations will be another form of
information that the Awards Committee will use in deciding who
wins these awards.
In addition, students of the program may qualify for some or
all of these national scholarships.
