Interior design students at work, 2005.
The College of DCP is home to six units, each with its own culture and research focus: the School of Architecture, the M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Building Construction, the Departments of Interior Design, Landscape Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning and the Doctoral Program.
The college is also home to an interdisciplinary program in historic preservation, which allows graduate students to gain expertise in research and application of historic preservation in the United States and abroad. The interdisciplinary nature of the professions is reflected in the fact that a number of undergraduate and graduate studios and seminars are taught to combined groups of students.
