DCP 2014 Career Fair

Join us Saturday, Feb. 1 for DCP’s 2014 Career Fair.

Representatives from firms including architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, urban and regional planning and sustainability and the built environment will be in attendance. The representatives will meet and greet with students as well as conduct interviews.

Career Fair Vendor Booklet

The college has created a vendor booklet that includes information on each of the firms attending the career fair, including a brief description of each firm, firm locations, what the firm is interviewing for, and the positions available within the company.

Firms exhibit at tables around the room as students circulate and sign up for interviews.
12:00p Break for Lunch
1:00p Individual Interviews Begin
6:00p Individual Interviews End
Informal Meetings with Firm Representatives

Throughout the morning, students will have the opportunity to meet the firms and to sign up for afternoon interviews.

Interviews

Each firm will determine the process for scheduling and the length of their own interviews. Interviews will be scheduled in 20-, 30-, 45- or 60-minute intervals, based on the needs of the firm. Interviews will be held between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Students must attend the morning session to sign up for an afternoon interview.

Resumes

Make sure your resumes are updated and bring enough copies to give to each vendor at the Career Fair. You are also encouraged to bring your portfolio to share during your interview.

Attire

Please dress professionally for the Career Fair. It is recommended that men wear a dark blue, black or gray suit. For women, a dark blue, black or gray pants or skirt suit is recommended.
