In 2011, the legislature made significant changes to limit state review of local government plans, encourage transit-oriented development and eliminate the requirement for transportation concurrency. The panel will discuss the challenges and innovations in the coordination of land development and transportation and their use in the changing fiscal and economic environment in Florida.
