The Department of Landscape Architecture is pleased to announce their new fall semester abroad programs at the Paris Research Center. A design studio course and a topical seminar on European landscape will be offered to all students in the College of Design, Construction and Planning and any other allied field. The semester will feature tours of Paris, other French cities and a week-long Italian tour to Venice, Verona, Florence and Rome. These offerings, wholely within the profession of landscape architecture, constitute the only such program in Paris itself and but one of a few similar programs in landscape architecture elsewhere in Europe.

Professor R. Terry Schnadelbach has put together course work and an itinerary that is one of the best design-based programs of any university. It will feature contemporary design theory and real Paris projects. In addition to experiencing French culture, the study program will include meetings and office visits with leading French professionals. During the semester, students will visit a number of professional exhibitions and attend seminars and symposiums.
