Historic Preservation Studies

News & Upcoming Events

Historic preservation is interdisciplinary by nature, and is taught at the University of Florida using a university-wide curriculum approach. Students can pursue historic preservation studies through a concentration and certificate in historic preservation while completing professional programs in the College or other participating degree programs throughout the university, or a student can focus on historic preservation studies in the Master of Science in Architectural Studies degree offered through the School of Architecture. Off-campus programs provide students throughout the university with unique opportunities for study and research around the United States and overseas, while funded research projects provide real world experience and graduate research assistantships. Advanced graduate study in preservation can be pursued in the College Ph.D. program.
