The program size is strictly limited in order to enhance personal experience. Early submission of a Letter of Interest will contribute to consideration for admission and completion of the application prior to the due date is highly advised.
Applications are due on or before March 3, 2010 and should be submitted through UF International Center Study Abroad at www.abroad.ufic.ufl.edu.
The program offers 12 credits for graduates, advanced undergraduates, and post-graduates. Transfer of credits to other institutions will be available.
Courses may apply to requirements for the UF ICCHP and the Master of Historic Preservation programs.
Program Fees and Expenses
The program fee of $9,950 includes tuition for 12 credits, the cost of instruction, guest speakers, and activities as detailed in the program description. Also covered are CISI and/or MEDEX insurance as arranged by the UFIC.
The program fee does not include housing, the round trip airfare to Paris, passports, personal expenses, meals, or independent travel. The CISI insurance does not include dental care. Individuals will be responsible for reviewing the insurance coverage and providing their own coverage, as needed.
Estimated rent and electricity for shared apartments averages approximately 600-700 Euros/month. Students have a variety of housing options including shared apartments, foyers, rooms and home stays. Housing arrangements are made by Paris Academic Rentals, an apartment provider who serves other premier study abroad programs in Paris including Columbia University.
The program is eligible for Financial Aid and Scholarships. Check with your financial aid office to discuss need-based assistance.
