Ruth Ron is an architect and artist whose work focuses on the extension and de-formation of real space by using virtual assets. She explores the borders between architecture and technology, form and media. Ruth received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology (1998), a Masters Degree in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University (2000), New York, and a Masters Degree in Interactive Telecommunication from New York University (2003). She has worked on virtual and real design projects for cutting-edge architectural firms in New York, including Asymptote and LOT-EK, as well as having exhibited in New York, Seattle, Boston, Jerusalem and Paris. Prior to coming to UFL, Ruth was a clinical assistant professor at Arizona State University.
