Materials to Send

The graduate admission process involves two offices, the UF Office of Admission and a school/department office. You must send application materials to both.

Send to the UF Office of Admission

Complete the online graduate application. Once you submit an online application, please email the appropriate program assistants to let them know that you have submitted your application online.

  1. Declaration of conduct. This should be completed online at the time of application. If not, you must mail a conduct declaration to the UF Office of Admission.

  2. Supporting residency documentation, if applicable (available via the online application).

  3. Submission of the $30 nonrefundable application fee by credit card or mail to the UF Office of Admission (available via the online application).
  4. Arrange to have official transcripts sent to the UF Office of Admission from each postsecondary institution attended.

Send to the Academic Unit

  1. Three letters of recommendation.

  2. Application for Fellowship or Assistantship.

  3. Statement of intent.
  4. Copies of all transcripts and test scores.
  5. Additional materials may be required by individual schools/departments. Links to their admissions requirements are provided below.

If you are a non-U.S. applicant, send your Certification of Financial Responsibility Form to the UF International Center (POB 113225, 123 Grinter Hall, Gainesville FL 32611-3225, USA).

Additional Materials

Each of the academic units needs specific materials from you to make a decision. In addition to the materials to be sent to the academic unit outlined above, send the following additional materials to the school/department you want to major in:

Interior Design
Landscape Architecture
Urban & Regional Planning
Doctoral Program
Historic Preservation Program

Contact the Educational Testing Service to forward your official test scores to the University of Florida. The UF institution code is 5812.
