Q: Do I need to register for conference even if I cannot attend the entire event?
A: It is necessary to register no matter how long you can attend.
Q: Where do I get copies of the paper abstracts?
A: There will be a hard copy with your registration package upon arrival
but you can access them on line now by clicking here.
Q: How do I reserve a data projector?
A: Data projectors (LCD Projectors) are pre-set in every session room.
However, you must bring your own laptop computer. Overhead projectors
are also
pre-set in each room serving as backup equipment in case your laptop
fails you. Play it safe and bring overhead films of your presentation.
Q: What if I don’t have a laptop?
A: Borrow one from one of the very friendly folks at the conference. The
Congress is not able to provide laptops.
Q: What do I do if I lose my name badge?
A: Go to the Conference Registration desk. Be patient and they will produce
another.
Q: Does the conference registration cover any meals?
A: Yes, there will be continental breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday, a
luncheon on Saturday and the Friday evening reception. Tickets for these
will
come with your registration.
Q: What do I do if I lose my event tickets?
A: The Conference Registration desk has record of your paid registration.
They will put your name on a list and you will need to personally check
with the attendant at the door of the event to let them know of your
arrival.
Q: Does my registration include a reception ticket?
A: All full registrations include the opening reception at the Chicago
Architecture Foundation's Railway Exchange Building.
Q: Is the Saturday evening dinner part of basic registration?
A: No, a separate ticket must be purchased from the Conference registration
either by email iphs@comcast.net or upon arrival at the Registration
desk. There are still spaces available.
